Lauren was born in Vallejo, Ca and when she later moved to West Contra Costa, she fell in love with the people and the power of the Richmond community. Lauren is an early childhood and education advocate. Lauren has extensive experience empowering and supporting West County families and providing enriching learning experiences ranging from infants to parents. Lauren believes that quality education and healthcare are not just limited to the classroom or hospital room and that supporting families in all paths of life is the pillar to harvesting healthy thriving communities.
