Oni has a deep sense of purpose which is provided by being part of empowerment, healing, and unity of family and community through birth work. Oni learned about the maternal healthcare crisis in the United States while studying for her BA in Anthropology. Injustice, malpractice, and unethical treatment of families in hospitals lit a passionate fire in Oni to promote birthing justice. Oni is a certified Jivamukti and prenatal yoga teacher. She is also a certified doula, homebirth midwives assistant and has been attending births all over the Bay Area since 2016. As a care provider, Oni thrives on providing personalized care so that clients can make informed decisions from their own empowered perspective. She is a Mother of 6, a talented visual artist and a published children's book illustrator and author.
