Emaye Mizani

COCO DOULA

Emaye is from Brazil and is a proud “Rasta Mama” of two sons, who, along with her husband, a fellow Brazillian, are both passionate about Afro-Brazillian culture. The CoCo Doula training program combined Emaye's two passions: birthwork and racial justice. Emaye also supports families as a Certified Positive Discipline Parent Educator and has supported several families as a nanny. She is a self-taught holistic health enthusiast and has been a natural foods chef and yoga instructor. Some of Emaye’s hobbies are dancing and reading, and she loves Ethiopian food and culture.
